I've been reading that its a good idea to use egr blanking plate. What's people's opinions on this? Will my engine management light come on? Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - 05 1.6 tdci intercooler pipe. Geting exhaust gases into the intake means less oxigen in the combustion chamber and lower combustion temperatures, reducing the formatin of NOx.
