In Far Cry 5 you have zero agency because of the Bliss forced narrative. In the end you either get trapped in a bunker while nukes explode above ground or never get to see the nukes because you turn into a brainwashed zealot while driving away. Far Cry 3 had a magical tattoo and a jungle that practically secreted drugs 4 had a Yeti, magical drug trips, and Shangri-La New Dawn's apples are easily explained as a mix of Bliss and radiation creating some freaky magical fruit. It would honestly be tame compared to some Far Cry stuff.
The "bad" ending in Far Cry 5 occurs when players choose not to arrest Joseph Seed, but instead walk away and leave him to his own devices. Doing so will prompt Seed to forgive the player, touching his head to theirs in a gesture of good will, and allowing the hero and all allies to simply leave.

The Bliss. This is of course the reason the nuke ending is all a hallucination, the player and other cops were all in contact with concentrated barrels of bliss the father dumps on the ground.
