While both Garmin and Polar make excellent heart rate monitors, the HRM-Pro beats out the H10 for the top spot. Both monitors detect and record your heart rate quickly and accurately, but the HRM-Pro is more comfortable, especially for long periods of time, and fits a wider range of sizes. However, the Polar H10 does have a longer battery life
The solution for me was to buy a Wahoo TICKR HR strap. I was working around the Garmin/iOS/Wahoo compatibility issue by using an old iPad, per someone elseās suggestion. I no longer have that iPad, so the problem cropped up again. I ordered a Wahoo TICKR on Amazon, and just recād it 30 min ago.
